Earth Systems
We have been studying systems found in the Earth. Our task was to choose among the hydrosphere, biosphere, geosphere, and atmosphere. Once we selected a topic, we used Discovery Ed's Board Builder to create an interactive presentation which included a video and summary, an image with a caption, and one article with a summary. Included are screen captures of some of the presentations:
Controlling Variables in an Experiment
As we learned through our pendulum experiments, it is important to control variables in order to have a successful and consistent experiment. Test your ability to control variables through this interactive site. Adjust the variables as you explore the site. Visit the site HERE.

Predict the Weather
Test your knowledge of fronts, high and low pressure areas, as well as other symbols that can be found on a weather map through this SIMULATION.
Review the weather maps. Use the data to discuss the current weather conditions. Forecast what you believe the next few days will be like. Where do you believe there will be wind and precipitation?
